Resetting via your live website
To reset your password if your website is live on Shopblocks, add /login to the end of your website address:
/login
This will take you to your website login screen, where you can reset your password.
Resetting via Shopblocks.com
Head to www.shopblocks.com and click the Login option on the main menu.
Enter your email address associated to the account, and click Go to my login:
This will take you to your website login screen, where you can reset your password.
What if I have more than one Shopblocks account?
If you have more than one account with Shopblocks associated to that particular email, you will be automatically emailed a list of all your accounts and direct links to their individual admin systems:
Clicking any of the admin links in your email will take you to your website login screen, where you can reset your password. Make sure to check any spam or junk folders in case the system email is filtered out before entering your inbox.
Password reset steps
When on your website login screen, you will be presented with fields to enter your email and password. Below them, there is a link - "Forgot your password?"
Click this and enter your email address, and click "Set your password":
Check your email inbox for a link to change your password. On the email click the "Reset Password" link:
This will take you to your admin system, where you can enter your email and set a new password for your account:
Updating your current password in the admin system
You may want to change or update your password periodically, or change the password of a shared login used by your team. To update your password in the Shopblocks admin system, first head to Settings:
Then click Manage users in the Users section:
Search for and click on the user you wish to edit:
Then update the password fields to your new password and press Save in the top right corner:
Tips on setting a strong password
Here are some quick tips on making sure your new password is as strong as possible:
- Make your password long
- Make your password a random phrase
- Include uppercase and lowercase letters, symbols and and numbers
- Avoid using obvious personal information
- Do not re-use passwords
- Do not share your password around
- Change your passwords regularly
