Have you wanted a customer to download a file from your product? Or maybe there is a sound they need to hear before buying the product? Look no further.
You will notice on Product Name Three's front-end page, we can download and listen to a sound sample on this product.
On Product Name One's page, we can download a template of the product to design ourselves.
This is an easy process by using tags on the Edit Product page.
How to upload your file.
Go to Content > Downloads > Manage Downloads
Select 'New File'
Add your name, download file, and tags. We recommend to have the tag name as the name of the file, to avoid mixup later. Press upload once complete.
Adding Tag to Product
Go to Products and the product of your choice.
In the Tags area, type the tag name you created for your file. Press save once complete.
Adding the 'Product Files' block to BlockLab.
Go to BlockLab > Product Page
Click 'New' in the top left and select 'Product Files' listed in the Product Blocks area.
Move this to the area which you would like it shown on the Product Page.
Double click on the new block to edit it's settings.
Title: Title which will go above the downloads. You can leave this blank
Download File: Would you like the customer to download this?
Display File: Ideally for music or video files, for the customer to interact.
Show File Name: Would you like the customer to see the name of the file?
Press save and publish in the top right once complete.
