How to Install Google Analytics on your Website

    What is Google Analytics?

    Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic and allows you to analyze in-depth detail about the visitors on your website. It provides valuable insights that can help you to shape the success strategy of your business.

     

    Setting up a Google Analytics account

    If you do not already have a Google Analytics account, you'll need to create one. Follow this guide directly from Google, and then return to this article to complete the installation of the tracking ID: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008015?hl=en

    Installing your Google Analytics ID on your website


    Once you have your unique tracking ID, head to Settings:

    Then click Tracking:

    Paste in your unique tracking ID into the Google Analytics field:

    and press Save.


    Now your tracking ID is successfully saved in the head code of your website.
